'ATLAND' Webcomic Going on Hiatus

ATLAND Artist/writer Nate Piekos announced on the ATLAND blog recently and today in a newsletter that his beloved webcomic will be going on hiatus.

Piekos made today's announcement via his December Blambot newsletter. Piekos is also a comic letterer and font designer.

ATLAND, a fantasy comic known for its tongue-in-cheek approach to the genre, bountifully-proportioned female characters, and often bold and bloody action scenes, has been running for more than seven years spanning over 300 episodes.

The comic recently switched to a comic page format from a landscape format, and for a time experienced multiple changes in its updates due to Piekos' schedule.

Piekos did not indicate when ATLAND would return but wrote that the strip would find a natural pausing point in the next few episodes.

He is currently working on another online comics venture, "The Berserker's Daughter," which is still in its early stages.
