An Artist to Watch: Tom Hodges.

Today in The Cube:

Princess Daphne by Hodges
Star Wars fans and all other lovers of great graphic art take note: if you don't know the name Tom Hodges, you should.
Check out his site HERE if you don't believe me.
Based in California, Hodges is the lead artist for the Star Wars: Clone Wars webcomic on www.starwars.com and, while that is currently on a break, is providing art for Lady Robotika as well as his own project, called, simply: m.
Hodges' style is heavily influenced by animation, and it has a tremendous energy and 'pop'. He draws Marvel, DC, and other comic characters with the same facility that he gives to his Star Wars work.
And the best part?
He takes requests.
Recently Hodges has begun to seek out suggestions from his Facebook and Twitter followers (follow him at @hodgesart - he maintains an entertaining and active Twitter presence) for morning warm-up sketches, which he draws at random from each day. The image I have here is actually of the suggestion I made - and subsequently purchased - Princess Daphne from Dragon's Lair.
Be sure to check Tom Hodges out and see what all the fuss is about - you won't be disappointed!
