Today in The Cube:
One of my favorite comic artists of all time, Adam Hughes (most famous for his long runs of covers on Catwoman and Wonder Woman for DC Comics in recent years), whose convention sketches are a mega-popular commodity, has released a TUTORIAL DVD available online at Stuart Ng Books detailing his artistic process.
Hughes is one of the most popular artists working today - I'm proud to say that I own each of his convention sketchbooks - and the detail that he puts into his artwork is spectacular. He is especially known for his masterful use of grayscale markers in his sketches to produce exceptionally-detailed black-and-white effects.
Last year a book of Hughes' DC Comics work, called Cover Run, was published, and it is definitely worth checking out!
